Appliance hauling is not the same as hauling bags of trash. A washer in a Clairemont laundry room, a dead fridge in a La Mesa kitchen, or a stove from a remodel will not fit in a small car. The metal can be recycled. Fridges and freezers that used cooling gas are taken to the Miramar Recycling Center. That drop-off fee is part of the price we send you. It is not a surprise at the curb.
Full-service appliance hauling means we carry the unit from the kitchen, laundry room, garage, or back yard. We do not unhook pipes or wires that still need a plumber or electrician. If a fridge has to turn a tight corner in a Mission Valley condo, a photo of the door helps. Curbside appliance hauling costs less when the unit is already in the driveway or alley. We bring the dolly and straps. You do not need to borrow them.
We haul appliances from Kearny Mesa apartments, Point Loma houses, Chula Vista garages, and downtown rentals when someone moves. Take the food out of the fridge. Tape the doors, or we will. If the appliance still works and someone can use it, say so in the text. We will try donation before scrap. If it is dead, appliance hauling ends at the recycler, not the dump.
