Privacy policy

This policy describes the information we collect, how we use it, who we disclose it to, how we disclose it, and the security practices we use to safeguard it.

Effective August 28, 2026. Last updated August 28, 2026. This policy applies to https://www.fredsjunkremoval.com, to Fred's Junk Removal jobs booked by phone, text, email, or the online booking widget, and to the Junk Removal Cost Calculator on this site.

Business contact: Fred's Junk Removal, San Diego, California. Email fasiegeliii@gmail.com. Phone (619) 245-9957.

1. Information collected

We collect information you give us and information created when you use the site or book a job:

  • Identity and contact: name, phone number, email address (including fasiegeliii@gmail.com replies), and service address.
  • Job details: photos of junk, item lists, calculator selections, curbside vs full-service choice, access notes (stairs, gates, pets), and preferred appointment windows.
  • Booking and payment: scheduled time, quote amount, payment method you choose, and confirmation that the job was completed. We do not store full card numbers on this website.
  • Communications: texts, calls, voicemail, emails, and messages sent through the booking widget.
  • Website technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and date/time of visits. This site uses cookies and similar storage needed to run pages (for example the cost calculator). We do not use that data to sell ads.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Do not send us a child’s personal information to book a job.

2. Use of the information

We use the information only to operate the junk removal business:

  • Prepare quotes and confirm pricing from photos or the cost calculator.
  • Schedule, route, and complete pickups in San Diego County.
  • Navigate to the job, load items, donate or dispose of them, and sweep the site.
  • Process payment and send receipts.
  • Answer customer support questions and handle complaints or damage claims.
  • Keep records required for taxes, insurance, and California law.
  • Protect the crew, customers, and property if a job presents a safety or legal issue.
  • Improve the website and calculator so quotes stay accurate.

We do not sell personal information, we do not rent mailing lists, and we do not use job photos for unrelated advertising without asking you first.

3. Parties to whom information is disclosed

We disclose personal information only as needed to run the job:

  • Fred Siegel and assigned crew — to quote, drive, and haul.
  • Online booking provider (Zenbooker) — if you book through the widget, they receive the appointment and contact details you enter.
  • Website host (Vercel) — receives technical logs needed to serve this site.
  • Email and phone carriers (including Gmail and your mobile carrier) — to deliver messages you send and our replies.
  • Payment processors — if you pay by card, the processor receives the payment data required to complete the charge. We do not keep the full card number.
  • Donation or disposal partners — only item type and what is needed to drop off usable goods or waste. We do not give them your phone number for marketing.
  • Professional advisors and insurers — if a claim, accident, or legal matter requires it.
  • Government authorities — when the law requires disclosure (court order, lawful request, or to report a crime).

We do not disclose your information to data brokers or third-party advertisers.

4. Method of disclosure

When we disclose information, we do it in these ways:

  • Encrypted website transmission: this site is served over HTTPS/TLS so browsers send forms and pages through an encrypted connection.
  • Email: quotes and follow-up may be sent to and from fasiegeliii@gmail.com using standard email transport.
  • SMS and voice: photos and job notes may be sent by text or discussed by phone at (619) 245-9957. Carrier networks handle those messages.
  • Booking software: the widget transmits appointment data to Zenbooker over that provider’s encrypted web connection.
  • In person / on the truck: the crew is told the address, access notes, and what to haul so they can complete the job.
  • Written legal process: if required by law, we produce records to the requesting authority.

5. Security practices

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate for a small local service business:

  • The public website is served over HTTPS with certificates issued by the host.
  • Access to email, booking, and domain accounts is limited to Fred and people he authorizes.
  • Devices used for quoting and routing are passcode-protected.
  • Job photos and messages are kept for the job and follow-up, then discarded when no longer needed, except records we must keep for taxes, insurance, or law.
  • We do not post customer addresses or quote photos on public social pages without permission.
  • Crews receive only the details needed for that day’s route.
  • Payment card data, when used, is entered with the payment processor — not stored as a card number on this website.
  • Software and hosting accounts are kept signed in only on trusted devices.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. If we learn of a breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and, where required, California authorities, using the contact information we have on file.

6. Texts and calls

If you text or call us, we reply about your quote and appointment. Frequency depends on the job. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to end texts, or tell us by phone. We do not operate a mass advertising SMS list.

7. California privacy rights

California residents may request: (a) categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected; (b) correction of inaccurate information; (c) deletion, except where we must keep records; and (d) confirmation that we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising. Email fasiegeliii@gmail.com or text (619) 245-9957from the number we have on file. We will not deny service or change price because you made a privacy request.

8. Retention

Quote photos and chat threads are kept through the job and a short follow-up period. Invoices and booking records are retained as required for tax and business records, then deleted or archived when no longer required.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the “last updated” date. Continued use of the site or booking a job after an update means you have read the revised policy.
