Trash hauling is for the week the city trash cart is already full. A move in City Heights, a party in Pacific Beach, or a closet cleanout in Linda Vista can fill the black bin and still leave ten bags. The city will not take a pile of extra bags next to the cart every week. A loose pile in the alley can get you a notice. Fred's takes the bagged household trash, flat boxes, and small broken items in one load.
We do not haul dangerous trash. Paint, gas, batteries, light bulbs, and chemicals stay out of the truck. Those need a special city appointment. We also do not haul a full remodel. Drywall and roofing need a different plan. Everyday trash hauling is bags, paper, boxes, and small broken things that are allowed in the landfill.
Curbside trash hauling costs less when the bags are already at the driveway, garage, or alley. Full-service trash hauling means the bags are still in the rooms and we carry them out. We work the same streets as the city trucks, from Logan Heights to Clairemont to National City. You do not have to wait for a special pickup week. Text a photo of the bags. If it is normal household trash, the price is simple.
