Fee rules

Pricing is posted before the truck rolls. No hidden travel charge, no “fuel surcharge” at the curb. Please have the job ready so the quote holds.

  • The quote you accept from photos is the amount you pay. We do not add surprise fees on the day of the job.
  • Curbside is the better rate when items sit at a drive-up spot: driveway, residential garage, or alley. We load. You do not need to be home.
  • Full-service means you point and we carry it from inside, the second floor, or the backyard. That labor is in the full-service price.
  • Dump fees, recycling, and the haul are included.
  • Ensure there is a cleared pathway for items to be removed.
  • Ensure gasoline and oil is removed from small engines such as lawnmowers.
  • Ensure bagged materials do not contain paint, liquids, fuels, chemicals, or other hazardous materials.

Dump vs. recycle

A dump run puts the whole pile in a landfill. We do not work that way. Usable furniture goes to donation partners when condition allows. Metal, appliances, and e-waste go to scrap and certified recycling. Mattresses and box springs enter California mattress recycling whenever the plant will take them. Only the leftover mixed trash goes through a licensed transfer station.

Green waste goes to organics and mulch processing, not household landfill. Clean branches and clippings are a recycling stream in San Diego County. Mixed junk in the same pile is sorted off so the green load stays clean.

Small yard piles, bagged trimmings, and what we will not cut

We haul away small loads of trimmings and bagged yard waste. If you have yard waste, please text Fred a picture and we will evaluate the job and either proceed with a quote or recommend an alternative hauling service that can help. That is hauling, not landscaping. We do not cut trees, we do not grind stumps, and we do not drive across lawns. If the branches are already cut to lengths two people can lift, and the bags are staged at a driveway, alley, or curb, we load them and go.

Fee rules follow the same posted tiers as household junk. A few bags or a small bundled pile can start at $69 curbside. Larger staged piles are matched to truck-load tiers from photos. We only take this work from a drive-up location. Dirt clods, sod, and heavy soil are limited because they blow the weight of a junk truck. Photos tell us before we quote. All of our displayed prices are guaranteed.

Dump versus recycle for yard waste is organics, not household landfill. Clean branches and clippings go to mulch and organics processing in San Diego County. Mixed junk in the same pile — a broken chair, a grill, a bag of household trash — is sorted off so the green load stays clean. Dumping fronds in a canyon is illegal and it is not our path.

Palm fronds after a tree service, citrus prunings, and bagged leaves are common. Patio furniture and a grill can ride with a yard pile if they are in the photos. We do not block the sidewalk longer than the load takes. We do not leave twigs in the gutter if we can sweep them.

Text a picture of the staged pile. If it is more than a small load, say so. Locally owned, veteran owned. We haul what is already cut.
