Donating vs. Dumping: How to Give Your Junk a Second Life

Donate when someone else can use it this month: solid sofas, dressers, working appliances. Dump (through a licensed hauler) when it is torn, wet, or infested. Holding “maybe donate” in a garage for two years is just storage.
