When Choosing Curbside Removal
The fees listed above are all inclusive – No add-on fees and include the following:
- Removal of Items
- Level of Service Chosen
- Disposal Fees
- Recycling Fees
Fred’s Junk Removal has a policy of fair, up front pricing for junk and trash pick ups. Our fees are based on 3 factors
We compare a pick up truck load to 3 cubic yards. The more space taken the higher the fee. We calculate space by cubic yards and this load option allows for up to 18 cubic yards. If the load size is more than 18 cubic yards the next load size up is the full truck load.
After volume, weight is considered. The fees we pay to dispose of junk and trash is calculated by the weight of the debris. Some debris takes less space but weighs more. This load option has a weight limit of 1800 lbs, if the weight of the debris to be removed exceeds 1800 lbs the next load size up is the full truck load which allows for up to 2000 lbs.
Because labor equals time we offer a discount from our regular price for curbside junk removal.
Additional labor for items removed from the 3rd or higher floor without an elevator or from long distance to truck will be discussed before work begins. Additional labor may range from 5-20% additional fee.
If a curbside appointment is made and the items to be removed are not in a drive up location the appointment may be canceled. This includes items technically in the driveway or garage but not accessible because the driveway or garage does not have adequate clearance – Our truck requires a driveway 10 feet wide and 7 1/2 feet height.
